Run 1986, 25 April 2024 – Richmond

Hares – Man Magnet

This will be Man Magnet’s spectacular annual Azalea Run. This year it will be an A to B run, starting at one pub, and finishing at another. The starting pub will be the Dukes Head, 42 The Vineyard, Richmond TW10 6AN  Map Link and there will be a P trail from the back exit of Richmond station, onto Lower Church Road, to guide you to the pub. The run will start from the pub at our usual time of 19.15 hour, and a car will be on standby to take everyone’s bags to the finishing pub, which will be close to transport links back to Richmond, Central London and elsewhere. There will be a drink stop on trail, so bring your collapsible cups.

Run 1987, 2 May 2024 – Kew Bridge

Hare – Standard Deviant

This weeks run will be from the One Over the Ait, 8 Kew Bridge Road TW8 0FJ. This is a short walk from Kew Bridge Station (overground from Waterloo via Clapham Junction), from where there will be a p-trail.

The pub have reserved for us an area upstairs, and we can store our bags there, though it is not secure, so best not to leave anything valuable. However, the hare will have his car close by for a drink stop, so can keep valuables safe.

As implied above, there will be s drink stop, and you should bring your collapsible cups.

Run 1990, 23 May 2024 – Shepherds Bush

Hare – Eagermount

This week’s run will be from The Green Pub, 172-174 Uxbridge Road W12 7JP. (Yes, it really will be from The Green Pub this time, with no last-minute transfer to The Director’s Weld.) This is a two minute walk from Shepherds Bush Market, on the Hammersmith and City / Circle lines. There will be a p-trail from the station.

There will be a private room for us at the pub, with bag storage, but not secure, so a bag-sitter would be good.

The pub does not serve food, but we are welcome to order food in from elsewhere, or bring out own.

There will be no drink stop.

Further information to follow.
