The nearest station is Isleworth mainline and there will be a trail of chalk P arrows from there to help you find this pub. The run will start from the pub at 19.15 hours, the pub will store our bags during the run. A torch may be useful but not essential.

    Travel information-Trains for Isleworth leave from Waterloo at 22 and 52 past the hour and takes 36min. For those coming from North West London you can catch the North London Line to Gunnersbury and from there catch the 237 bus towards Hounslow, the bus stops outside Isleworth Station (25min). From Richmond Station you can catch the H37 bus towards Hounslow, the bus stops at Woodlands Road just outside the pub (25min).

    This week’s run will be from The Dukes Head, 42 The Vineyard, Richmond TW10 6AN Map Link. The nearest station is Richmond and there will be a trail of chalk P arrows leading from the back entrance of this station on Church road to help you find the pub. The run will start from the pub at our usual time of 19.15 hours. The pub will let us leave our bags in a section of the bar for the duration of the run. This will be a Onesie run, so wear one! A torch may be useful in places. There will be a drink stop so please register below if you are coming so that the hare can estimate numbers.

    This week’s run will be from the Black Horse pub, 204 London Road Kingston KT2 6QP Map Link. The nearest station is Norbiton, which is the stop before Kingston on the mainline out of Waterloo (or the stop after Kingston if you take the loop line from Richmond/Teddington). There will be a trail of chalk P arrows from the station to help you find this pub. The run will start from the pub at our usual time of 19.15 Hours and this will be an Australia day run, so wear something appropriatte, and bring a torch.

  • Run 1865 – Thursday Jan 20th ~ Clapham

    Hare – Crap Nav

    This week’s run will be from the Bread & Roses pub, Clapham Manor Street, London, SW4 6DZ Map Link. This is accessible from several stations so there will be no P trail to the pub. The nearest Stations are Clapham High St, Overground and Clapham Common Tube (Northern Line), also plenty of buses. The run will start from the pub at our usual time of 19.15 hours. We will be able to leave bags in the bar during the run but we will need a minder to keep an eye on them, if you wish to volunteer for this role please indicate this by using using the comments section below. This is an interesting old pub with historical links to the trade union movement, from which it derives its unusual name Link to pub website and it invariably provides a good selection of well kept beers.

The nearest stations are the Hammersmith Tube stations (Piccadilly and District Line station and the  Circle and Hammersmith & City station) and there will be trails of chalk P arrows from both of these to help you find this pub. The run will start from the pub at our usual time of 19.15 hours. The Hare will stay with the bags in the bar during the run.     This week’s run will be from the Southwark Brewing Company, 46 Druid Street, London SE1 2EZ which lies on the North side of the railway tracks, Map Link . This is a
    10 minute walk from Bermondsey tube from which the Hare will mark a trail of chalk P arrows to help you find this establishment, which also close to London Bridge station (no P trail). The run will start from there our usual time of 19.15 Hours and there will be a place to store bags. The run will feature a Lancashire themed drink stop!

    This week’ s run will be from The Royal Oak, 13 Richmond Rd, Twickenham, TW1 3AB Map Link.     This week’s run will be from The Candlemaker pub,136 Battersea High Street, SW11 3JR Map Link. The nearest station is Clapham Junction. When leaving the station do so via the Grant road exit, this can only be accessed using the underpass and is on the North side of the station. There will be a trail of chalk P arrows from there to help you find this pub. The run will start from the pub at our usual 19.15 hours. The pub will provide an unsecured storage area for bags and will take valuable items for safe keeping behind the bar.     This week’s run will be from the Stag’s Head, 102 New Cavendish St, W1W 6XW Map Link . The nearest station is Great Portland Street tube and there will be a trail of chalk P arrows from there to help you find this pub. The run will start from the pub at our usual time of 19.15 hours and the pub will provide bag storage. This will be our Christmas run taking in the Christmas lights of central London and afterwards, back at the pub, Santa will be shaking his sack for a lucky dip. To take part bring a wrapped present worth around £6 and receive one in return.

  • Run 1858 – Thursday Dec 2nd ~ South Kenton

    Hare – Wacker

    This week’s run will be from The Windermere, Windermere Avenue, South Kenton, HA9 8QT Map Link. The nearest station is South Kenton (Bakerloo Line and London Overground). Although the pub is visible from the station platform there will be a very short 100 metre trail of chalk P arrows from the station to help you find it. For those coming from Richmond or Clapham Junction direction use the London Overground and change at Willesden Junction.  The pub is also a ten minute walk from Preston Road Station on the Metropolitan Line but there will be no P trail from this station. The run will start from the pub at our usual time of 19.15 hours and the pub will provide bag storage. There will be a drink stop towards the end of the run. The long trail will be around 5 miles and there will be two short cuts available – the second of which will cut over a mile off the run. There may be food after at the pub, dependant on staff availability. Bring a torch as some of the run is off road.

  • Run 1855 – Thursday Nov 11th ~ West Drayton

    Hare – Katoyboy

    This week’s run will be from the George and Dragon pub 176 High St, West Drayton UB7 7BE Map Link. The nearest station is West Drayton, which is accessible by TFL Rail or GWR from Paddington or Ealing Broadway, and there will be trail of chalk P arrows from that station to help you find the pub, where the run will start at our usual 19.15 hours. The pub will store our bags while we run. Given the semi rural location it is probably advisable to bring a a torch. There will will be a floating drink stop on trail.

    Although advance registration for West London’s run is no longer mandatory it is still encouraged as it gives the Hare an indicative pack size in advance for drink stops etc and has been useful to the Hash Cash as an aid to keeping stats and collecting subs so if you plan to come on this run please register by clicking on This Link, which is now live.


  • Run 1854 – Thursday Nov 4th ~ Twickenham/Strawberry Hill

    Hare – Man Magnet

    This week’s run will start from from the The Sussex Arms pub, 15 Staines Road, Twickenham TW2 5BG Map Link at our usual time of 19.15 hours. The nearest station is Strawberry Hill which is about one Kilometre/12 minutes walk from the pub and there will not be a P trail. The pub is also accessible by buses H22, 490, 267 or 281 from Twickenham station and is about 15 minutes walk from Whitton station. There will be bag storage available in a hasher’s car that will be parked near the pub. This will be our Guy Fawkes night Run and there will be a suitably explosive drinks stop. This pub is famous for its fine selection of ales and there will be live band on after the run. The Hare advises bring a torch and also that the drinks/firework stop will not be at the same location as it has been in previous years, so do not shortcut to that location or you will be disappointed.
