With the end of lock down West London H3 resumes running under its standard Tier 2 rules:-The start time for the run is 6.30 pm to 7pm, however, faster runners should leave closer to 7pm. If you have a group ready to leave just before 7pm please wait a few minutes for any late comers so they do not need to run on their own. DO NOT start before 6.30pm as the trail won’t be ready and the drink stops will not be operational. Hashers leaving the start point after 6.50pm are requested to start marking through the checks, please bring chalk.

The run which will start from South Kenton station (London Overground & Bakerloo Line) HA9 8RB Map Link. On leaving the station at the bottom of the stairs turn left (the opposite way to The Windermere pub) and the trail will start immediately outside the station.

At the end of the run there will be a drink stop (DS) within a quarter of the mile of the station, which will open from 7.15pm.
The DS location will be in a park (to allow social distancing) with some cover, as it looks like rain on Thursday.
The long trial is just under 4.5 miles and under four miles with a short cut. A torch will be useful on part of the trail.

Unfortunately the landlord at The Windermere will not be reopening under Tier 2 rules. It is not clear yet whether the nearest alternative pubs;
(1) “The Preston” (which offers meals and has a large garden) Preston web site and map link
(2) “The Junction” in Harrow (outside area and food) will have reopened by Thursday.
Please check their websites on the day and the hare can give directions to both locations. Junction web site and map link

With the uncertain pub situation the hare will bring additional drinks supplies and snacks to the DS.
When registering for the run please indicate if you want beer, cider or red wine.
Please register as soon as you can so the hare can ensure there are drinks for everyone coming.
