Run No 1817 ~ Thursday 22nd October ~ Harrow-on-the-Hill

Hare : Roadkill

Important-Pre-registration is required for all participants in West London Runs during the current Covid emergency, if you plan to come on this, or any other run, you must register in advance using This link which will be open for each week’s run by the evening of the Tuesday before the run.

This week’s run will start from outside Harrow-on-the-Hill Station (Metropolitan and Chiltern Lines) HA1 1BB Map Link. Trains from Baker Street take only 20 minutes and 15 minutes from London Marylebone. Exit the station via the Lowlands Road exit LHS – do not take the exit towards the town centre and bus station RHS.

There will be no bag drop, run with what you bring and do not hang around waiting for a pack to form. Set off as soon as you turn up, anytime between 18.30 and 19.00 hours. Early starters should not mark through checks ahead of the main runners.

The hare will follow our former hash tradition and re-run the trail from 19.00 hours, marking through the checks for late comers and walkers.
A torch is not essential but would be useful towards the end of the run.

There will be a drink stop towards the end of the run so stay on trail and do not short cut. The hare’s able assistant will be at the drink stop location from 19.15 onwards.

If you want to go for a drink afterwards nearby under Tier 2 rules The Junction and The Royal Oak have outside tables. Please make your own arrangements in groups of not more than six. There is also the Moon on the Hill, The George, O’Neill’s and the Trinity Bar but they have no outside area so follow the solo drinking rules if you choose these locations.
