Run 1947, 10 August 2023 – Chiswick

The run this week will be from The Pilot, 56 Wellesley Road, Map Link. The nearest station is Gunnersbury, on the Richmond branch of the District Line. Leave by the back entrance of the station (turning right after the barriers) and turn right at the exit from the station to follow the footpath to where it meets Wellesley Road, then turn right; the pub is less than 150 metres on the left. There will be a trail of chalk P arrows from the station to help you find this pub. The run will start from the pub at our usual time of 19.15 hours and the pub will provide bags storage for it duration.

There will be seasonal drink stop, so you should bring your collapsible cups.

Run 1946, 3 August 2023 – North Harrow (AGPU)

Hare – Wacker

This week’s run and AGPU will be from the North Harrow Home Guard Club, off the Pinner Road, North Harrow, HA2 7TA  Map Link. The nearest station is North Harrow on the Metropolitan Line (Zone 5) and there will be a trail of chalk P arrows from there to help you find this venue. The run will start at our usual time of 19.15 hours and will be fairly short as it will be followed by the Annual General Meeting at which the mismanagement for the next twelve months will be elected. After the elections there will be a sumptuous buffet of free food served up. At the very end of the trail there will be a special drink stop, so bring your collapsible plastic cups for this, if you have one.

Run 1945, 27 July 2023 – Wandsworth Town

Hare – Giving Head

This week’s run will be from The Cat’s Back, 86-88 Point Pleasant, London SW18 1PP  Map Link. he nearest train station is Wandsworth Town and there will be a trail of chalk P arrows from there to help you find this pub. The run will start from the pub at our usual time of 19.15 hours and the pub will provide bags storage for it duration. There will be a drink stop on trail so bring a reusable collapsible cup, if you have one, to cut down on single use plastic.

The pub is also accessible from East Putney Tube, about 14 minutes walk, not P trailed.

Run 1944, 20 July 2023 – Earls Court

This week’s run will be from The Kings Head, 17 Hogarth Place Earls Court, SW5 0QT Map Link. The closest tube station is Earls Court and there will be a trail of chalk P arrows from there to help you find this pub. The run will start from the pub at our usual time of 19.15 Hour and the pub will let us store bags in their upstairs room.

Run 1943, 13 July 2023 – Putney

Hare – Kemosabe

This week’s run will be from The Green Man, Wildcroft Road, SW15 3LU Map Link. The nearest station is Putney (overground from Waterloo), which is a 14 minute walk, or a short bus ride (bus 14, 37 or 85 from Putney Station Stop E to Putney Heath/Green Man). It is a slightly longer walk from East Putney District Line Station, or take the 37 bus from Stop EB. The run will start from the pub at our usual time of 19.15 hours and the pub is expected to provide bag storage for its duration.

Run 1942, 6 July 2023 – Fulwell

Hare – KMA

This week’s run will be from The Roebuck, 72 Hampton Road, Hampton Hill, Middlesex, TW12 1JN Map Link. The nearest station is Fulwell on the South West Railways mainline and there will be a trail of chalk P arrows from that station to help you find the pub. The run will start from the pub at our usual time of 19.15 hours and we will be able to leave our bags there for the duration of the run. There is likely to be drink stop on trail so bring a reusable collapsible plastic cup if you have one.

Run 1941, 29 June 2023 – Richmond

Hare – Butt Plug

This week’s run will be from the Duke’s Head, the Vineyard, Richmond, TW10 6AZ Map Link.  There nearest station is Richmond and there will be a trail of chalk P arrows from the back exit of this station, which leads onto Lower Church road, to help you find the pub. The run will start from the pub at our usual time of 19.15 hours and the pub will provide an unsecured area for us to leave our bags.

Run 1940, 22 June 2023 – Whitton

Hares – Smart Arse and Charlatan

This week’s run will be from The Prince Albert, 54 Hounslow Road, Twickenham TW2 7EX Map Link . The nearest stations are Whitton and Hounslow mainline stations, both on the overground Hounslow line from Waterloo. A p-trail will be marked from both stations to help you find this pub. The walk from Hounslow is slightly longer at 12 minutes (against 7 minutes from Whitton), but the 281 bus plies the same route and will take you close to the pub; get off at Whitton Church. The run will start from the pub at our usual time of 19.15 hours and they will look after our bags for its duration. The pub should be serving two Twickenham beers

There will be a drink stop with the usual eclectic variety of beers from Mr A, as well as wine, so bring your collapsible cups if you wish to partake of the later.

Run 1939, 15 June 2023 – Battersea

Hare – N4P

This week’s run will be from the Mondo Brewery Tap House Link to website, 86-92 Stewart’s Road, SW8 4UG Map Link.  The nearest station is Battersea Power Station on the Northern line (zone 1) and there will be trail of chalk P arrows from this station to help you find the Brewery. The run will start from the Brewery at our usual time of 19.15 hours and they will store our bags for its duration. The venue is also accessible from Battersea Park and Queenstown Road national rail stations but no P trail will be marked from these . 

Last time we ran from this venue there were long queues because only one person was serving, and there were a lot of food orders. The brewery have assured the hare that they will have two members of staff on, and they no longer organise food, so the queue for drinks should not be long.  They are happy for people to order food in. 

There will be a drink stop so please bring your reusable cups.

Run 1938, 8 June 2023 – Pinner
