The Rehema Project is a charitable organization which raises money for woman and children living in bad and desperate conditions. All the money goes directly to the people in need. Each day during school term basic food is given to the young children (3-7 year olds) whose parents cannot afford to pay for breakfast before school. It also helps women who are raising
children alone. They particularly care for women without education or training. The Rehema Project also fund education/ training and provide assistance (in the form of either a donation or a loan) for women to start small businesses. Some of the money will also be for work done directly in villages – basic first aid (treating cuts and burns before they become more
serious if left untreated); funding hospital treatment where required (mainly to treat malaria and typhoid, but anything that is not covered by basic first aid and left unattended could be life threatening), funding education/training, providing basic food for people in dire situa-tions and mentoring a group of ladies trying to start small businesses.
There is also going to be a raffle with prizes such as: a dozen bottles of Chablis and a £50 voucher for Mamas Nepalese restaurant
